Customer emails in your buyer's own language
Tanqory now sends customer emails in each buyer's own language when a full translation exists, and falls back to your default language or English so no email arrives half translated.
What you can do now
- Buyer language first Emails use the buyer's language, then your store's default language, then English.
- One language per email If a translation does not cover the whole email, the email goes out fully in English instead.
- Your templates stay yours A template you wrote yourself keeps the language you chose for it, and back-in-stock and price-drop emails follow the storefront language.
More International updates
- Check market prices before you save a manual rateEnter a manual exchange rate for a market and see the prices it would give before you save, so you can catch a mistyped rate first. Markets > market > Currency
- Choose the languages each domain servesAssign languages to each domain and pick its default, and your storefront and checkout use that default and only the languages you have published. Settings > Languages
- AI translation keeps your manual editsRunning AI translation again keeps fields you edited by hand, skips text that has not changed, and flags translations whose original text has changed. Settings > Languages
