How do I authenticate with Tanqory APIs?
Tanqory uses API keys for server-to-server integrations and JWT tokens with automatic refresh for app sessions. API keys come in live and test variants and can be rotated or revoked on demand. Full authentication documentation is available in the developer portal.
What happens if a webhook delivery fails?
Failed webhook deliveries are automatically retried using exponential backoff. After repeated consecutive failures, the webhook is automatically disabled so you can investigate. All delivery attempts are logged with full request and response details.
Can I test integrations before deploying to production?
Yes. Tanqory provides separate live and test API keys so you can validate webhook deliveries and verify authentication flows with test keys before switching to live keys in production.
How do I handle rate limits?
Tanqory APIs return standard 429 responses with retry-after headers when rate limits are reached. SDKs and prebuilt connectors handle rate limit backoff automatically. You can monitor your rate limit usage in the integration dashboard.
Are webhook payloads signed?
Yes. Every webhook request includes a signature header that you can verify using a shared secret. This ensures the payload originated from Tanqory and was not tampered with in transit. Signature verification examples are included in the webhook documentation.
Are integration events logged?
Yes. Webhook delivery attempts are logged and retained according to your plan, with full request and response details. Event replay from the log is on our roadmap.
How are API keys and tokens secured?
API keys and JWT tokens are encrypted at rest and in transit. Keys can be rotated or revoked on demand, and come in live and test variants for each environment. Key actions are logged.
