The logo files

Two forms, each in black and in white: SVG for the web, and PNG at two sizes for documents and publishing tools that take no SVG. Use the horizontal logo for headers and wide formats, the symbol for icons and small square places.

Clear space and smallest size

Give the logo room on every side, and never show it smaller than it can be read.

SymbolHorizontal logo
X = crown height

Clear space of one crown height

Keep text, images and other marks away from every side by X, the height of the chevron crown at the size you use. The same X holds for the symbol and the horizontal logo.

  • 34 px, smallest on screen
  • 16 px, favicon only
  • 15 mm, smallest in print

Smallest sizes

On screen the symbol is at least 34 px tall, and 16 px only as a favicon. In print it is at least 15 mm tall. Always scale it evenly.

Contrast on each background

Every pairing here passes WCAG AA. Avoid low contrast, such as a grey logo on light grey, and gradients, patterns or photos.

Azonix, the display face

For the hero headline only, in Latin script. Never for body copy.

Geist, the text face

For body copy, labels and every heading after the hero.

Geist Mono, for code

For code, data and technical specs.

Use the files as supplied

Use the official files exactly as they are, in one solid tone. Each of these changes the logo or overstates its legal status.

Don't stretch it

Scale both ways together.

Don't rotate or tilt it

It always stands upright.

Don't add a shadow

Keep it flat, with no effects.

Don't add gradients

One solid tone, end to end.

Don't tint each shape

All three shapes share a tone.

Don't recolour it

Black or white, nothing else.

Don't add clutter

Set it on a calm, plain ground.

Don't lower its opacity

Never let the ground show through.

Don't move a shape

Crown and arms keep their places.

Don't mark it registered outside Singapore

Use ™ there, and on the name everywhere.

Your logo

Next to a partner logo

Set both logos at the same visual weight, with a thin divider between them and the clear space around both. Keep both in one tone, and get written approval from Tanqory before you publish.

Inline in a web page

Set the symbol inline with its fill as currentColor, so it takes the text colour around it, and give it an accessible name.

Your brand comes first.

Who owns the Tanqory marks?

Tanqory does. The marks are the Tanqory name, logos, symbols, icons, wordmarks, product names and distinctive design elements. Brand value created through your use of them benefits Tanqory, and nothing in these terms gives you ownership.

What does permission to use them cover?

Use the marks only as these guidelines allow, without distortion, change or misleading presentation. The permission is non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable.

Can the Tanqory logo be larger than mine?

No. Tanqory marks never appear more prominent than your own brand, and they are never the main identity of your product or service.

Can I say my product works with Tanqory?

Yes, when the words are accurate and specific, such as "works with Tanqory" or "integrates with Tanqory", and your brand stays primary. Never suggest that Tanqory built, sponsors, certifies, endorses or is formally affiliated with your product unless you have written approval.

Can I use Tanqory in my app, company or domain name?

Not without written permission. That covers app, product, company and developer names, domains and social handles, and Tanqory feature names in an app title that could make it look official.

What happens when the guidelines change?

Tanqory may update these guidelines, and you make the needed changes within a reasonable time. Tanqory may review a use and ask for changes, or withdraw permission; you then stop using the marks and remove them where reasonably possible.

Who do I ask?

For a legal question about the marks, write to legal@tanqory.com. For permission or anything else, use the contact page. If you are not sure a use is allowed, ask before you publish or print.
