Customer accounts

An account your buyers come back to

Buyers sign in with a code from their email, follow every order to the door, buy again in one tap and start a return on their own. You switch it on in settings, with no code.

Inside the account

Everything a buyer needs after the checkout

Follow Mia, a buyer at Corella Kids, an example kids' clothing store in Perth.

A code instead of a password

Mia types her email and your store sends her a one-time code. Buyers who want a password can still set one, and you can add social sign-in.

Self-serve returns

Returns that follow your rules

Buyers request a return from the order in their account. Your rules decide what they see: the window, final sale items, return shipping and any restocking fee. Approve each request, or let your rules do it.

  • Refund, exchange or store credit, as you allow

  • Final sale items cannot be picked

  • Conditions shown before they send

Switch it on in settings, or ask your assistant

Sign-in links, self-serve returns, store credit, social sign-in and the account address on your own domain are switches in settings. Or ask your AI assistant in one sentence; it waits for your confirmation.

  • Everyday assistant work like this uses no AI credits

  • Customer accounts come with every plan, with no app to install

How do buyers sign in?

With a one-time code sent to their email, or with a password if they set one. You can also connect social sign-in in your customer account settings.

Can a buyer check an order without an account?

Yes. A buyer who checked out as a guest can look up an order with the order number and the email used at checkout, and see its status and tracking.

Which returns can a buyer start on their own?

The ones your return rules allow. You set the return window, final sale products and collections, return shipping, any restocking fee and the conditions, and choose to approve each request yourself or let your rules approve it.

Can buyers manage subscriptions from their account?

Yes. A subscriber can pause, skip, resume or cancel, change the quantity, and update the delivery address or the payment method, without writing to you.

Can a buyer download or delete their data?

Yes. From the account a buyer can download a copy of their data or delete the account, which helps you answer privacy requests without manual work.

How is this different from the customer profile in my admin?

The account is what your buyer sees on your store. The customer profile is what your team sees in the admin: the same orders, plus notes, tags and marketing choices.
