Tanqory FAQ

Tanqory is an AI-native commerce platform for selling online. You describe what you sell, and the AI drafts a store with a brand, a theme, pages and products that you edit before anything is public. After that the AI assistant in your admin answers questions about your store and carries out work across products, orders, customers, marketing and settings once you confirm.

An email address. You can also continue with Google, Apple or Facebook on the sign-up page. Then you describe what you sell, and Tanqory drafts a store you can change before you open it.

No. Every Tanqory theme is free and stays fully editable in the visual editor, so you change layout, text and images without code. You can also ask the AI to generate a theme or edit one for you. Developers who want to go further work in React and TypeScript.

Yes. Connect a domain you already own and keep it with the company where it is registered, or buy a new one in the admin. You can add more than one domain and choose which is primary. Every plan includes free SSL and hosting.

Yes: 3 days free before your first charge. You pick a plan when you create the store, and you can change or cancel the plan from your admin.

No. The transaction fee is 0% on every plan, with any payment provider you connect. Your payment provider charges its own processing rate, which goes to the provider, and Tanqory never marks it up.

AI is part of every plan. Everyday work never uses credits: chatting with the assistant, letting it act in your admin, and having it write product copy, emails, policies and reports. A fair-use ceiling may slow that work, never stop it. The monthly AI credits in your plan cover heavier jobs such as images, launching a store from a description and generating a theme, and you can top up with a credit pack at any time.

Starter includes 2 staff seats, Growth 5, Business 15 and Scale 50. When you need one more person, an extra seat is an add-on at $5 a month. Each seat sees only the parts of the admin you give it.

Yes. An upgrade takes effect at once with a prorated charge, and the new plan's monthly AI credits arrive straight away. A downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle. Every plan renews until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your store's plan settings.

Connect your own Stripe, PayPal or Braintree account by signing in from your payment settings, plus regional gateways for local payment methods. The money from each sale goes to your account. Tanqory charges a 0% transaction fee with any of them, and you pay your provider's own rate.

Cards through Stripe, with Apple Pay and Google Pay offered on devices that support them, and PayPal in the same checkout. You can add manual methods for payments made outside the store: cash on delivery, bank deposit, money order or a method you name. You choose which ones buyers see.

No. At checkout the buyer types the card into your payment provider's secure field. The provider keeps the card and gives your store a token, so your order shows only the card brand and the last four digits.

Yes. Markets with local currencies are built into every plan: each market has its own settings, so you set prices for another country in one place. Card payments through Stripe work in the currencies and countries your Stripe account supports.

On your own online store, and on Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada, Facebook and Instagram from the same admin. Product feeds to ChatGPT, Google Merchant Center, Meta and TikTok are turned on from one settings page.

No. You manage each product once in Tanqory, and every connected channel and feed reads that catalog. A sale on any channel takes the item from the same stock count, so buyers see the same number wherever they look.

Yes. Turn on pickup in store or local delivery for each location that offers it. The order is paid online and lands in the same orders list as the orders you ship.

Yes. B2B and wholesale are built into the plan and run from the same store and admin, with no extra app. Business customers see the prices set for their company.

A shipping profile holds your locations, the zones you ship to and the rates for each zone. Checkout shows each buyer the rates that match their address and cart. After the order is paid, routing rules choose the location that ships it, and you create the label and the packing slip from the admin.

DHL Express, FedEx and UPS connect directly. Easyship and Shippo connect as aggregators, so one account returns rates from many couriers. Connect your own carrier contract and its rates and labels use the terms you negotiated.

The order appears in your admin and its items are reserved from stock at the location that ships them. You create the label and fulfill the order, and the customer sees it in their order history when they sign in. You can still change items, addresses and notes from the order page.

It answers questions about your store from your own data and acts across products, collections, inventory, purchasing, orders, returns, customers, staff, discounts, gift cards, marketing, content, the storefront, the theme, domains, markets, subscriptions and settings. It also answers how-to questions from the Tanqory help center and can then do the steps for you.

No. Every change appears first as a preview of what it is now and what it will be, and nothing is saved until you confirm. Every confirmed change is recorded in the store activity log.

Yes. Add the Tanqory MCP server in your assistant's connector settings and sign in with your Tanqory account. You choose what it may read and change at sign-in, and every change it proposes waits for your confirmation.

Yes. Every Tanqory store speaks the Universal Commerce Protocol, so AI shopping agents can discover, browse and buy, and your product feeds reach ChatGPT, Google Merchant Center, Meta and TikTok. The buyer pays on your own store checkout, and the order lands in your admin with every other sale.

Yes. Export products, customers, orders, discounts, catalogs, analytics and tax reports as CSV whenever you like, and reach the same data through open APIs and the SDK.

With a password plus a second step: an authenticator app, a text code or a passkey, with backup codes for a lost phone. Each person can see their signed-in devices and sign any of them out, and each seat gets only the parts of the admin it needs.

Yes. Every page is served over TLS with free SSL for your domains, data is encrypted at rest, and secrets such as payment provider keys are encrypted again with AES-256.

Import CSV files for products, customers, inventory, catalogs and URL redirects, or write your data through the Tanqory APIs and SDK. The import runs in the background and reports its progress, and your current store stays open until you switch your domain.
