What is a store theme?
A theme is the design of your store: its layout, colours, type and the sections each page is made of. Your products, orders and customers live in your store, not in the theme, so changing the theme never touches them.
Do themes cost anything?
No. Every Tanqory theme is free on every plan, including Vertex, Nimbus and Starter.
Can I change a theme without knowing code?
Yes. In the visual editor you add, move and hide sections, edit text and images in place, and set colours and type for the whole store. You can also ask AI for a change in plain words, for example a new section with your bestsellers.
Can AI make a whole theme for my brand?
Yes. Describe your brand and AI generates a theme in Studio. You can then keep editing it in the visual editor or in code.
What are the themes built with?
React and TypeScript. Pages are rendered on servers at the edge, close to your shoppers, and every theme stays fully editable in the visual editor. Developers can edit theme code in Studio or build with the Tanqory CLI and the theme developer MCP.
Who helps me if I get stuck?
Ask the AI assistant in your admin. It answers how-to questions from the Tanqory help center and can make changes in your store with your confirmation.
