Choose which products count as digital goods for VAT
Tanqory now ties the Charge VAT on digital goods setting to a collection you control, so you decide which products are treated as digital goods instead of a product setting you could not change.
What you can do now
- A collection you edit Turning the setting on creates a Digital Goods VAT Tax collection, or reuses one you already have.
- Products you choose Add products to that collection and they are treated as digital goods for VAT.
- Gift cards unchanged Gift cards are still treated as digital goods, so their tax does not change.
