Questions about moving from WooCommerce
What does Tanqory read from WooCommerce?
Products and their variations, over the WooCommerce REST API with a key you create with Read permission. Tanqory does not ask for write access.
How do I remove access after the move?
Disconnect in Tanqory and the stored copy of the key is deleted. Then revoke the key in WooCommerce under Settings, Advanced, REST API.
Does my WooCommerce store stay open while I move?
Yes. You build the Tanqory store next to your WooCommerce store, and nothing changes for your buyers until you point your domain at Tanqory.
Can I check the import before anything is written?
Yes. Every import starts with a dry run that reads each row and shows what will be created and which rows need a fix. Nothing is written until you confirm.
Do I keep my payment provider?
Yes. Connect your own Stripe, PayPal or Braintree account. Tanqory charges a 0% transaction fee on every plan, and you pay your provider's own rate with no markup.
What about customers and stock levels?
Customers and stock levels come in from their own CSV files through the same import, each with its own dry run first.
Will my old links still work?
