Serve a market from a subfolder with its own languages
Tanqory now serves a market from a subfolder of your primary domain, like example.com/en-eu, with the languages you pick for that market and the first one as its default.
What you can do now
- A path per market Set a subfolder for a market and its storefront link uses that subfolder.
- Languages per market Pick the languages a market serves in order, and the first becomes its default.
- No clashing paths A subfolder another market already has is refused, even when only the letter case differs.
More International updates
- Customer emails in your buyer's own languageStore emails now go out in the buyer's language, then your default language, then English, including back-in-stock and price-drop emails. Settings > Notifications
- Check market prices before you save a manual rateEnter a manual exchange rate for a market and see the prices it would give before you save, so you can catch a mistyped rate first. Markets > market > Currency
- Choose the languages each domain servesAssign languages to each domain and pick its default, and your storefront and checkout use that default and only the languages you have published. Settings > Languages
