Pickup and local delivery steps with buyer emails
Tanqory now gives pickup and local delivery orders their own steps on the order page. Buyers get pickup and delivery emails at those steps instead of a shipping notice.
What you can do now
- Pickup steps Mark an order ready for pickup, then picked up, which fulfills the remaining items without a shipping email.
- Local delivery steps Mark a local delivery ready, then out for delivery, then delivered, and the buyer gets an email once it is delivered.
- Pickup emails The ready for pickup email lists the location, address, your pickup instructions and a directions link, and the picked up email is a setting you turn on.

- Postal code patterns and price rules for local deliveryCover many postal codes with one pattern such as 101*, and charge by order total with up to 3 price rules per local delivery zone. Settings > Shipping and delivery > Local delivery
- Delivery estimates that skip public holidaysEstimated delivery dates now count each location's handling time, order cutoff and working days, and skip public holidays at both ends. Settings > Shipping > Estimated delivery dates
- Let buyers pick up orders in storeEach location with pickup turned on now appears at checkout as a free pickup option, and buyers who choose it skip the shipping address. Settings > Shipping and delivery > Pickup in store
