Let customers delete their own account
Tanqory now lets a signed-in customer delete their own account. The account is disabled, the order and refund records you must keep stay for the retention period, and a scheduled clean-up anonymizes the rest later.
What you can do now
- Self-service deletion Signed-in customers can delete their account from their customer account, without having to write to you first.
- Records you keep Order history, refund records and sales totals stay in place for the legal retention period, so your reports keep their numbers.
- Anonymized later A scheduled clean-up later anonymizes the customer's personal details.
More Customers updates
