Today you can take business orders with PO numbers and payment terms on draft orders, apply taxes, and sell to business buyers through standard checkout. A full account-based B2B system — company accounts, custom pricing, quotes, and credit — is on our roadmap.
On our roadmap
Our goal is to treat B2B as a first-class model: one company account, many buyers, central control. These capabilities are planned, not available today.
Planned: hierarchical accounts where a parent company manages sub-accounts for branches or divisions, with permissions and pricing that cascade.
Planned: define who can browse, order, approve, or manage payment methods, with account-level defaults and individual restrictions.
Planned: tie accounts to contracts with renewal terms that govern pricing, minimums, and fulfilment rules.
Planned. The goal is that every buyer sees the right products at the right price automatically. Not available today.
Planned: assign custom price lists to accounts so buyers see their negotiated pricing automatically.
Planned: pricing tiers by order quantity, with volume discounts applied automatically when thresholds are met.
Planned: named price lists tied to contracts, updating automatically when contracts renew or expire.
Planned: control which products each account can see, hiding or restricting items per account.
Planned, to fit real B2B sales cycles rather than forcing instant checkout. Not available today.
Planned: sales teams create quotes with custom pricing, terms, and expiry, then send them to buyers.
Planned: orders that need internal sign-off route to approvers, with an audit trail.
Planned: buyers accept a quote and convert it to an order with pricing and terms locked in.
Planned: reps place orders on behalf of customers, reflecting the correct account pricing.
Available today on draft orders: capture a PO number and set payment terms. Credit limits, automatic invoicing, and partial payments are on our roadmap.
Set a purchase-order number and payment terms (such as Net 30 or Net 60) when you create a draft order for a business buyer.
Planned: set credit limits per account and block orders that exceed available credit.
Planned: generate invoices with due dates and match payments automatically as they arrive.
Planned: accept partial payments against an invoice and track the remaining balance.
Planned. Today, orders use the platform's standard fulfilment and carrier shipping (DHL Express, Easyship). Account-specific B2B rules are planned.
Planned: route a buyer's orders to designated warehouses or carriers.
Planned: support bulk fulfilment with pallet-level tracking and commercial freight rules.
Planned: let accounts set delivery schedules so orders ship on a cadence.
Available today: a multi-jurisdiction tax engine (US sales tax, EU VAT, GST). Per-account tax-exemption certificates and B2B audit records are on our roadmap.
Calculate US sales tax, EU VAT, and GST on orders based on rules and location.
Planned: mark accounts as tax-exempt with stored certificates and expiry tracking.
Planned: store exemption certificates and compliance records per account.
Planned. B2B events driving workflows and insights is a direction we're building toward, not available today.
Planned: orders above a threshold trigger an approval workflow.
Planned: alert account managers when accounts place large orders or exceed credit.
Planned: enforce minimum order quantities and restricted product access from contract terms.
Planned: surface top accounts and reorder cycles from B2B order data.
Available today: a real Store API, SDK, and webhooks you can build on. A dedicated B2B/Quote API arrives with the account-based B2B system on our roadmap.
