One photo, every place
Framed for where it goes
A stock site hands you one file. A store needs the same photo as a square in the product grid, a tall frame in a story and a wide banner on the home page. Pick the place and the frame is cut from the full photo, never stretched or upscaled.
Product grid and posts
A square keeps every card in a collection grid the same height, and it is the safe shape for an Instagram post.
The feed
4:5 is the tallest shape Instagram and Facebook show in the feed without cropping, so the photo takes more of the screen.
Stories and short video
9:16 fills a phone screen for Stories, Reels and TikTok covers. Keep the subject in the middle third, away from the buttons.
Banners and covers
16:9 suits the image banner at the top of a store page and a video cover. Leave the empty side free for your headline.
Pinterest recommends 2:3 for a standard pin. Taller pins can be cut short in the feed.
Shared links
The 1200 by 630 shape is what most social apps and messengers show when someone shares a link to your store.

Collections
Browse by what you sell
Every photo was shot for a kind of store, so the collections follow the work of selling: the product, the people who make it, the packing bench and the counter.
About the photos
Made by Tanqory, ready for a store
No photographer credits to chase and no model releases to check: every photo here was made by the Tanqory studio with AI image models, art directed one by one for a kind of store.

- Shot plan
- No real brands
- Invented people
Art directed for commerce
Each photo starts from a written shot plan: the product, the light, the lens and the place. People and places are invented, products carry no real brand, and each photo is sharp on a high density screen.

Alt text with every photo
Each photo comes with a sentence that says what it shows, written for a screen reader. Paste it in the image description field so shoppers who cannot see the photo still know the product.

- Large
- 1,440 × 1,080
- Medium
- 1,080 × 810
- Small
- 640 × 480
Full size, never upscaled
Downloads come from files up to 1,440 pixels wide, 1,920 on wide shots, and a smaller size is only ever scaled down. That covers a product page, a banner and a social post.

Licence
What you can do with them
Use the photos for your business, on Tanqory or anywhere else. These are the plain rules.

Use them to sell
Put them on your store, in ads and emails, on social posts, packaging, flyers and printed signs, for your own business or for a client's. Any store platform or marketplace is fine.

Change them
Crop, resize, recolour, add your text and your logo. A photo you have changed is still yours to use under the same terms.

- None
No credit needed
You do not have to name Tanqory next to a photo. A link back is welcome, never required.
- Resell the photo as it is
- Use it in a logo or trademark
- Present a person as a real customer
- Mislead or break the law
Four limits
Do not sell or share the photos as they are, as stock or as prints. Do not use one in a logo or trademark. Do not present a person in a photo as a real customer or as someone who recommends you. Do not use them in anything unlawful or misleading.
Before it goes live
Four checks for a store photo

Show it in use
A product in a hand or on a bench answers the question a flat photo cannot: how big it is and how it feels. Keep one plain photo for the grid and put the in-use photo next.

Leave room for words
A banner needs a quiet side for the headline. Pick a photo with empty space, then slide the frame so the subject sits on the other side.

Keep the light the same
Photos side by side on one page read as one store when the light agrees: all warm daylight, or all cool studio light. Mixed light makes a catalog look borrowed.
Write what it shows
Alt text is read aloud to shoppers who use a screen reader and helps search engines place the image. Say what is in the photo, not what you hope it sells.

On Tanqory
Stock photos set the scene. Your products need their own.

Product photos from your own
Ask the assistant to put your product on a plain ground, change the background or make a new image for a listing. It shows you the result and waits for your yes before it saves.See the AI assistant

Questions about the free photos
The Tanqory assistant generates and edits product images in your admin.
See the AI assistantAre these photos really free for commercial use?
Yes. Use them on your store, in ads, emails, social posts, packaging and print, for your own business or for a client, with no fee and no sign-up. The four limits are in the licence section above: do not resell the photos as they are, do not use one in a logo or trademark, do not present a person in a photo as a real customer, and do not use them to mislead.
Do I need to credit Tanqory or a photographer?
No. Credit is welcome but never required. There is no photographer to credit: the Tanqory studio made every photo.
Are the photos made with AI?
Yes. The Tanqory studio made them with AI image models, each from a written shot plan for a kind of store. The people and places are invented and the products carry no real brand, so there are no model or property releases to worry about. Do not present a person in a photo as a real customer or as someone who recommends your store.
Can I use them on a store that is not on Tanqory?
Yes. The photos are free to use on any store platform, marketplace or website.
What sizes can I download?
Large is the full frame at the file's own pixels: up to 1,440 pixels wide, or 1,920 on wide shots. Medium scales the longest side to 1,080 pixels and Small to 640. A size is only ever scaled down, so a crop never gets soft from upscaling.
JPEG or WebP?
JPEG opens everywhere, so it is the safe choice for print, email and most upload forms. WebP makes a smaller file at the same quality for the web. Browsers that cannot write WebP offer JPEG only.
How do I use a photo as a store banner?
Open the photo, choose Wide 16:9, slide the frame so the subject sits on one side and the empty side is free for your headline, then download Large. On Tanqory, drop it into the image banner section of your theme in the visual editor.
Is anything I search or download sent to Tanqory?
No. The search, the framing and the file are all done in your browser. The search words stay in the address bar only so you can share a search.
