Slogan generator

A slogan for every place your store is seen

Tell it what you sell. You get slogans grouped by style, for a store header, a product card or an ad, and you see each one in place before you use it. It all runs in this browser.

Slogans by style

Each place asks for a different line

A header has a second to say who you are, an ad has to stop a thumb, a product card has to sell one thing. Each card is a line the generator writes for an example store, shown where it would be read.

Rails of shirts and trousers in a bright shop

Quietly exceptional linen shirts.

Short and memorable

Two to five words that say who you are. It sits in the header and beside your logo, so it has to read in one glance.

A serum bottle and a jar of cream on dark stone

Looking for skincare made with care?

Questions and hooks

An ad opens with a question the buyer answers in their head. It works when the answer is your product.

A pair of gold hoop earrings

Gold jewelry, made to be kept.

Benefit first

Say what the buyer gets, not what you are. On a product card the line sits under the price, so it can be a little longer.

A man in a wool hat pitching an orange tent beside a lake

Say hello to better camping gear.

Calls to action

A line that ends in a step: shop, explore, try. It closes an ad or a banner and points at the button under it.

What makes a slogan stick

Four tests before you choose one

A good slogan is short, says something only you can say, sounds right out loud and still works when it is small. Run your favorites through these four tests.

  • Made slowly. Made well.4 words
  • Good coffee, close to home.5 words
  • Everything you want from candles, and nothing at all that you don't.12 words

Short enough to remember

Most slogans people remember have two to six words. Count yours, then cut every word the line still works without.

Fits any storeQuality products for everyone.

Fits a candle makerA little warmth, every evening.

Specific to you

"Quality products for everyone" fits any store, so it says nothing. Name what you sell or what the buyer feels.

Madeslowly.Madewell.

Sounds right out loud

Read it out loud. Two short beats, a repeated word or a sound that returns (made slowly, made well) is what makes a line stay.

Works at every size

A slogan lives on a banner, a phone screen and a 12-point label. Check it reads at all three before you print it.

What is a slogan, and how is it different from a tagline?

A slogan is a short line that says what your store stands for or what a buyer gets from it. Many people use slogan and tagline for the same thing. When they differ, a tagline stays with the brand for years, beside the logo, and a slogan can change with a campaign or a season.

How long should a slogan be?

Short enough to remember after one read: most lines people recall have two to six words. A header or logo line should fit on one line on a phone. A benefit line under a product can run a little longer, up to about ten words.

How does this slogan generator work, and does it use AI?

It writes slogans from patterns for each style and tone, filled with your product and a few words that fit that kind of product, all in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to Tanqory or anyone else. On Tanqory, the AI assistant writes product copy, emails and page copy for your store.

Is the slogan generator free?

Yes. It is free, with no account and no limit on how many slogans you make. Saved slogans stay in this browser until you clear them.

Can I use a slogan from the generator for my business?

Yes, the slogans are yours to use and edit. Before you print one or put it in ads, search for it online and check the trademark register in the countries where you sell, since a short line can already belong to someone else.

How do I choose between a few slogans?

Save three to five, then read each out loud and see it in place on the header, an ad and a product card. Ask a few customers which one sounds like you. If you run ads, test the top two against each other and keep the one that gets more clicks.

Should my slogan include my store name?

It can help a new store be remembered, especially when the name is short. Type it in A word to include and the generator writes lines around it. If the name is long, keep it out of the slogan and let the logo carry it.

Where should I use my slogan?

In the store header or under the logo, on social profiles, in ads, on packaging and receipts, and in the footer of your emails. Use the same words everywhere, so buyers meet the same line each time.
