Deliver to buyers near your shop and let them collect in store. Draw your zones by radius or postal code, set a price for each one, and checkout offers local delivery only to the addresses you can reach.

Checkout knows which addresses you reach
Checkout matches each address to your zones, prices delivery from the basket, and offers pickup when you cannot reach it.
A code inside your zone gets delivery
The buyer types M4 5JD. Your Ancoats zone lists the M4 area, which covers every full code inside it, so checkout offers local delivery at the zone price.

Each location keeps its own settings, so a second shop draws its own map.
Draw zones by radius or postal code
Use a radius of up to 160 km or 100 mi from the shop, or a list of postal codes. Codes are matched however the buyer types them, an area such as M4 covers every code inside it, and a wildcard such as 101* covers every code that starts with it.
Price each zone your way
Set a base price and a minimum order for each zone, then add up to three rules such as orders of £40 or more pay £2. Checkout applies the highest rule the basket reaches.
Tell buyers how and when you deliver
Write a delivery note for each zone, such as the days the van runs, and buyers read it at checkout before they pay.
Set it all up by asking
Tell the assistant in your admin where you deliver and what it should cost. It writes the zones, the price rules and the pickup settings, and saves them only after you confirm. An afternoon of settings becomes one message, and chatting with the assistant never uses AI credits.

When an order is packed, the buyer gets a ready for pickup email with your address, your instructions and a directions button. Orders that move from another shop get their own pickup time, so nobody waits at the counter.

Questions about local delivery and pickup
How do I choose where I deliver?
Add zones to a location, either as a radius around the shop of up to 160 km or 100 mi, or as a list of postal codes. A location can have up to ten zones.
What does a buyer outside my zones see?
Local delivery is not offered to that address. Shipping rates and pickup still are, if you offer them.
Do buyers get told when to collect?
Yes. The ready for pickup email is on by default and carries the shop address, your pickup message and a directions link. A picked up email can be turned on too.
Does the AI assistant cost credits to set this up?
No. Chatting with the assistant and letting it act in your admin never uses AI credits. It saves changes only after you confirm.
