Set up your business in Mexico

The steps in the order most new sellers take them. Each is read from the official page linked under it.

1. Choose a legal form
Official sources name the "persona física con actividad empresarial" (eligible for RESICO) and the "Sociedad por Acciones Simplificada (SAS)".

2. Register the business
A Sociedad por Acciones Simplificada is constituted online, free of charge, through the Secretaría de Economía electronic system, and individuals register their activity in the RFC with the SAT.

3. Get your tax number
The SAT issues the RFC (Registro Federal de Contribuyentes) number on registration of a persona física.

Open your store in Mexico

What Tanqory sets up for a store based in Mexico. You change any of it in Settings.
